My aim as a therapist is to foster a safe space with those who may feel unheard, neglected, ashamed and scared.

HI, I’m Octavia!

I am a registered psychotherapist in Ontario

As a lover of film and stories, I use the art of storytelling to further understand our beliefs, values, fears, strengths and limitations. Our stories are embedded in our everyday narratives and they hold deep importance for every single one of us. Being a witness to my story, and the stories of others, has transformed my relationship with myself and my practice.

Photo of a library interior with numerous bookshelves full of books, a ladder leaning against a shelf, and a person holding a phone or camera to the left. The image appears to be taken through a glass window, reflecting the interior details.

I hope learning more about your complex story will do the same for you.

I am a first generation Canadian and I know that seeking help can be difficult.

I am here to tell you that you are not alone. My main focus is supporting youth and adults in navigating the nuances of every day life. I grew up as the eldest of 5 children and felt as though I could not be vulnerable. I now dedicate my practice hoping to provide the safe space that I needed and received as a young adult. If you are willing to take the next step in your journey, I would be honoured to join you. I hold a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology, and I am a member in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
